You have selected our One Time Project, or Dinner/Lunch Service you are acknowledging have a budget for or can provide any necessary material(s) for the volunteer activity for specific opportunities(example such as serving lunch, pottery class or putting together laundry kits, etc.)You are fully responsible for covering all food and supplies costs. The Community Engagement Manager will reach out to schedule a date via email for your selected activity. If you are unable to provide a budget or supplies, please choose another option to serve at FCH.
Dinner Host -Community C.H.A.M.P.S. Representative
Job Title: -Community Champs Rep.
Purpose: The volunteer(s) to serve a meal to the youth and staff of TRAC at the Fannie C. Hayes Drop-in Center. The Community Champs of FCH are members of the public who serve at the drop-in center Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 6:30 pm.
Location: All staff works in the building of the FCH central office at 4212 E Grand Ave, Suite 100- Dallas, TX 75223.
· Welcome neighbors to center
· Report to CEM for station of the day
· Have materials for leading dinner
· Set up area of serve
· Take feedback with emoji box
· Clean area of service
Reports to Community Engagement Manager of the TRAC Drop-In Center at Fannie C. Harris
Time Commitment: The Center is open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Dinner must be served during dinner time. You may begin serving dinner at anytime between 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, and dinner must conclude by 5:45 pm.
Qualifications: Pleasant manner, patience, problem-solving ability, dependability.
Support: Training for this position will be provided. Also, the Program Manager and Community Engagement Manager are available for questions.
